KAROLOS KOUN ART THEATER: (From an article by Emilios Hourmouzios): «Mr Karolos Koun has once again worked a miracle. He has succeeded in reorganising the Art Theater, and has presented about 20 new members, all pupils of the theater’s Academy of Dramatic Arts who, from their very first performance, have shown that the Greek theater can depend on them. (…) The students of the Dramatic Art Academy of the Art Theater can no longer truly be called «students.» They are actors, who are comparable to those with much more experience. They have succeeded in presenting an excellent program in its entirety, without any weak areas, while maintaining a uniformity which is completely due to their teacher. Karolos Koun is truly a marvelous individual. He is perhaps the only one of our theatrical directors who is able to create actors. SONTIS: Professor Ioannis Sontis, of Athens University’s School of Civil Law, is to deliver the opening address at the University’s Great Hall on Friday (May 14) at 7 p.m. on the subject «The founding principles of property law.»
