Sad repetition
The time-honored proverb that you reap what you sow has unfortunately been reconfirmed.
What happened Friday outside the Polytechnic during events to mark the anniversary of the November 17, 1973 student uprising show that, in addition to the mockery they have made of the anniversary, those who accustomed the Greek people to jeering and violent protests are now paying the price.
Unfortunately, however, the country is also paying the price, as a new generation has been brought up to believe that everything is allowed and any extreme behavior is legitimate.
