Two-tier system
The decision to open up public education to private college graduates points to a haphazard approach, to say the least.
For reasons that cannot be blamed on the current government, the quality of the courses provided by those private institutions cannot be certified at this time.
Already dysfunctional on several levels, the last thing our beleaguered education system needs is a two-tier system of teachers with varying levels of competence.
