Unholy suggestions
The October 14 English Edition of Kathimerini featured a front-page story about the Greek Orthodox hierarchy considering subjecting applicants for the clergy to hormonal tests to determine whether or not they were gay. Putting the scientific dubiousness of such an idea aside, I suggest that any such tests, if contemplated, should also be performed on current clergy. The results, I’m quite confident, would be quite newsworthy. DAVID BREWER, Aghia Paraskevi.
