KARAMANLIS’S PROJECTS: The minister for transport and public works, Mr Constantine Karamanlis, yesterday inspected work on the landscaping of Stadiou Square and around the Acropolis. The minister then went on to Keratsini, near Piraeus, to observe progress on the sewage network currently under construction. (…) The city’s new main sewage pipeline (…) will have a total length of 16,000 meters, of which 9,000 meters are already completed. Mr Karamanlis then went to the Yliki reservoir to inspect the water supply project currently under way. The water pipeline is a total 45 kilometers in length. The minister expressed his satisfaction with all the projects under construction. BOUZIANIS: In honor of the artist Giorgos Bouzianis, the «Agency for Intellectual Cooperation» has organized a special dinner for tomorrow night. Among the speakers will be the National Technical University professors Dimitris Pikionis and Antonis Sochos, the art critics Angelos Prokopiou, G. Politis, G. Miliadis and others. Actors will later perform recitations.
