Boosting foreign trade ties
Greece should welcome tourism from Japan and the Far East. It would be wise for Greece to secure Japanese investment and develop international trade with Japan and China. This certainly would help to improve the Greek economy. Greece should also reach out to Latin America and start welcoming wealthy Latin American tourists to Greece… Queen Sofia of Spain is Greek and could be a vital link for promoting Greece in Latin America. If direct flights are not possible from the Latin American continent they could stop in Spain and refuel. The Greek National Tourism Organization should look into a joint venture with Spain and the Latin American countries to promote Greek culture and grab the tourism dollars with the Far East and Latin America.
