COMMUNIST PROPAGANDA: The National Council of Greek Women, the Association of Greek Women Graduates, the Lyceum Club and the Greek Federation of Women’s Associations has issued the following announcement: «On July 7,1955, a conference of mothers took place in Lausanne during which a woman from Athens claimed to speak on behalf of Greek mothers… The organizer of this conference was the Democratic Federation of Women, expelled last year by the United Nations for exploiting its position as a consultant member to carry out political propaganda. Its local chapter, the Congress of Mothers, obtained the signatures of well-meaning, uninformed Greek women and by using hackneyed pacifist arguments engaged in blatant political propaganda that slandered the Greek state and society, and even the country’s most valuable asset, its children.»… Signed on behalf of the National Council of Greek Women by Elmina Pandelaki, Angeliki Hatzimichali, the Association of Greek Women Graduates by Aleka Mantzoulinou, Niki Goulandri, the Lyceum Club by Anna Triantafyllidou, Agni Diamantopoulou and the Federation of Greek Women’s Associations by Lina Tsaldari, and Pasithea Saligarou.
