CYPRIOT STRUGGLE: Nicosia, 26 – Amid an atmosphere of heightened patriotic, nationalist fervor, the third Pan-Cypriot National Assembly met at 10.30 a.m. this morning in the Church of Aghios Ioannis, to proclaim once more, both to the subjugated Cypriots and those in the free world, the determination of the Cypriot people to live free, as absolute masters of their destinies. The entire area in front of the Archibishopric was a sea of blue and white flags, and from early morning the bells were pealing to announce the dawn of the great day on which over 600 delegates of the subjugated people of Cyprus met under the roof of Orthodoxy to express their fervent national desire to see their own country, Cyprus, free of any foreign yoke. NIKOS KOUNDOUROS: The filming of «Dragon,» a new film by the director Nikos Koundouros starring Dinos Iliopoulos, is proceeding as usual. The female star of the film, Margarita Papageorgiou, who suffered an attack of appendicitis on the last day of filming, is housebound. MICHAEL CACOYIANNIS: The director Michael Cacoyiannis yesterday filmed the first trial scenes of his new film starring Elli Lambeti, Dimitris Horn and Stefanos Stratigos.
