SCOTTISH COAL MINERS: London, 7 – The leader of the labor union, Mr Abe Moffat, today spoke in defense of the Scottish coal miners who sent a gift of 50 pounds sterling to the labor unions of Cyprus, and criticized the policy of the British prime minister, Mr Anthony Eden, on the Cyprus issue. He asked for the return to Cyprus of the ethnarch, Archbishop Makarios, who had been exiled by the British to the Seychelles, and for talks to be resumed with the archbishop.
