MITTERRAND, KING PAUL, QUEEN FREDERIKI: Paris, 7 – This evening, on the final day of their official visit to Paris, King Paul and Queen Frederiki of Greece… gave a dinner at the Greek Embassy in honor of French President Mr Rene Coty and Cabinet members. The French prime minister, Mr Guy Mollet, who was not able to attend due to previous political engagements, was represented by the Keeper of the Seals, Mr Francois Mitterrand. SCOTTISH COAL MINERS: London, 7 – The leader of the labor union, Mr Abe Moffat, today spoke in defense of the Scottish coal miners who sent a gift of 50 pounds sterling to the labor unions of Cyprus, and criticized the policy of the British prime minister, Mr Anthony Eden, on the Cyprus issue. He asked for the return to Cyprus of the ethnarch, Archbishop Makarios, who had been exiled by the British to the Seychelles, and for talks to be resumed with the archbishop. KARAMANLIS’S PUBLIC WORKS: Prime Minister Constantine Karamanlis yesterday announced a further public works program valued at 2,400 million drachmas.
