GREECE-USSR: The visit to Athens by the Soviet foreign minister ended formally yesterday afternoon, when Mr Dimitri Sepilov held a press conference at the Soviet Embassy in Athens. Earlier, his Greek counterpart Mr Evangelos Averoff had made statements regarding the results of Sepilov’s unofficial visit. From the statements made by both ministers, as well as Mr Sepilov’s replies to questions from the press, it can be surmised that the general impression on both sides of the talks between Greek Prime Minister Constantine Karamanlis and the Russian minister was one of satisfaction. A sincere desire to improve relations between the two countries was observed. YIAROS: With regard to a press report in a morning newspaper on the prisons on the island of Yiaros, the Justice Ministry has announced that rumors of rabid rats and inmates being blinded were completely false and spread by the inmates themselves for obvious reasons. ALEXIS MINOTIS: Tomorrow evening at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus there will be a performance of Sophocles’ «Oedipus Rex» with Alexis Minotis in the title role and as director.
