Problems with Greek golf courses
In his letter published on Tuesday, June 20, Mr Nikos Maksimyadis, referring to the outcome of the survey «From North Cape to Cape Town, KPMG Golf Course Development Cost Survey in the EMA Region,» questions the correctness of quoted percentages relating to the difficulties faced in developing golf courses in Greece. It is common practice in such questionnaires to allow multiple answers, so percentages are not supposed to add up to 100. We just presented some results of the survey. KPMG has not performed any specific feasibility study on golf course development in Greece, therefore we could not take any position on the matter. GEORGE RAOUNAS, KPMG, Athens.
