JEAN-PAUL SARTRE IN ATHENS: Mr Jean-Paul Sartre, the father of French existentialist philosophy, is currently staying in Athens at the King George Hotel. POWER TRANSFER: A year after the transfer of the Public Power Corporation (PPC) from American to Greek management, the chairman of PPC’s board, Mr Petros Gounarakis, held a press conference yesterday to mark the occasion. «Still pending is the purchase by PPC within the next four years of all existing power production units on mainland Greece and on the island of Evia,» he said.
