BEN HALIM: Prime Minister Constantine Karamanlis received the prime minister and foreign minister of Libya, Mr Mustafa Ahmed Ben Halim, who was on his way to Turkey to meet with King of Libya Mohamed Idris I Al-Sanousi, who is staying there. The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister Evangelos Averoff. ‘LES MISERABLES’ OF ATHENS: A guard working at the Sotiria sanatorium in Athens, T.G., aged 29, caught a man, T.K., also 29, of Kaisariani, at the entrance to the sanatorium in the act of buying medicines from a patient and tried to arrest him. However, T.K. attacked him, punching him and injuring him seriously. He was eventually arrested by police who were called to the scene, and who also seized six packets of drugs that had been prescribed for patients suffering from tuberculosis. The man was in the habit of buying these drugs off the patients and selling them for a profit. He was hauled before a prosecutor who brought charges against him and ordered an investigation and the arrest of the patients who were selling the drugs.
