SERBIAN SUPPORT: Belgrade, 9 – The daily newspapers Politika and Borba have printed the following statement by Patriarch of Servia Vincent to the semi-official Yugoslav news agency Yugopress. «Starting with the view that every person and every Christian should be glad to support whatever will bring progress, peace and prosperity to the world, I hope that the Cyprus issue will be settled in the interest of peace on the basis of the free self-determination of the Cypriot people and human rights and that Archbishop Makarios will return to his flock.» CONSTANTINE LOGOTHETOPOULOS: The Nafplion community held its annual ball at the Acropole Palace Hotel recently. The guests included many Cabinet ministers. The Prenda orchestra played for the guests, accompanied by the singers Belinda, Poppy Polly and Vavatsikos. PRINCE MIKAZA: 8 – The youngest brother of Emperor Hirohito of Japan, Prince Mikaza, and his wife Princess Yuri arrived in Athens on Thursday and stayed for three-quarters of an hour at the Royal Pavilion at the airport at Hellenikon. Prince Mikaza, 41, is a very well-educated person and fifth in line to the Japanese throne.
