CRISIS IN CHINA: London, June 29 – Communist China is in deep political and economic crisis. Even in Peking, the seat of the Communist government of China, there have been reports of violent anti-Communist demonstrations, as well as in other parts of China. According to the New China news agency, following the explosion of a bomb at the home of Chou Tseng, who is general secretary of the Peking medical school, Communist students held a meeting and found that the attack «was not an isolated incident» and had been made by people shouting «Death to Communists.» Previously, Peking radio had broadcast that in the city of Nanjing and the province of Fu Ken, counter-revolutionary organizations had been uncovered whose purpose was to overthrow the Communist government. Meanwhile in the province of Shantung, members of a group plotting to murder Communists have been arrested. In addition, according to several other unconfirmed reports, anti-Communist demonstrations have also been held in many parts of provincial China.
