GREEK-TURKISH FRIENDSHIP: Istanbul, 18 – It was announced in Ankara this morning that a Greek military mission has arrived here led by General Lamaris. (…) The mission members visited the deputy leader of the Turkish General Staff. Their meeting was reportedly conducted in a most friendly atmosphere. KOSSA: It has been officially announced that there is an organization within the military titled «Communist Army Organization, Security Forces» (KOSSA). FLOWERS: We have arrived at the middle of spring. Athens is filled with flowers which are on sale everywhere at relatively low prices. Baskets full of violets and daisies are on sale on street corners and loaded on donkeys. Never have these humble beasts dreamt of ever bearing such a noble load.
