GREECE RECOGNIZES CUBAN REGIME: Greece, Italy and Norway have officially recognized the new regime in Havana, Cuba, led by Fidel Castro. Castro meanwhile said that the Cuban revolution would affect other countries in Central America and that he would be carrying out an investigation within the ranks of the government and that informers would be punished. AMINTORE FANFANI: Italian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Amintore Fanfani arrived at Athens Airport yesterday, welcomed by Prime Minister Constantine Karamanlis and other officials including Foreign Minister Evangelos Averoff and the Italian ambassador in Athens. Fanfani made a brief statement to the press to express his delight at visiting Greece and his gratitude to the Greek government for the invitation. He said that during his brief stay in Athens he hoped to discuss various issues of mutual interest with the government. The official party then drove to the Maximos Mansion where Fanfani is to stay. Later in the afternoon the Italian premier went to the royal palace and signed the visitors’ book before the official Greek-Italian talks began.
