Greek president to visit Cyprus next week

Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou will be in Nicosia on Monday and Tuesday for an official visit scheduled to coincide with the anniversary of the Republic of Cyprus’ independence from British rule, on October 1.
Apart from attending the annual military parade in the Cypriot capital on Tuesday, Sakellaropoulou will also meet with political and church leaders, as well as accept an honorary doctorate from the University of Cyprus.
