Mitsotakis calls for ‘just and lasting’ Ukraine peace in EPP talks

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis took part in a videoconference of European People’s Party (EPP) leaders on Wednesday.
Government sources said the discussion focused on the latest developments regarding the Ukraine crisis. According to the same sources, Mitsotakis welcomed progress in the Ukraine-US talks, while stressing that any outcome must ensure a “just and lasting” peace that safeguards Ukraine’s dignity.
He underlined that the inviolability of borders must be respected and that the need for strong Ukrainian armed forces is non-negotiable. [AMNA]
