Menendez awarded honorary doctorate by University of Athens

The influential chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Bob Menendez, has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Athens following a unanimous decision by the senate, it was announced Monday.
In a statement, the senate hailed Menendez’s commitment to international law, describing him as a “bulwark against the revisionist tendencies which are manifested across the world as well as [Greece’s] neighbourhood.”
