Mary Linda and Petros Imvrios to tour Canada in aid of Greek language schools
Renowned Greek singers Mary Linda and Petros Imvrios will launch a tour of Canada beginning on September 27, in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Canada and Greece’s diplomatic relations, the Canadian Embassy in Athens said on Monday.
The duo’s tour will launch in Montreal, followed by Ottowa on September 29, and Toronto on October 4.
Proceeds from the concerts will benefit the cities’ Greek language schools.
The tour has been organized by the Greek communities of Ottowa, Montreal and Toronto, and has received support from the Greek and Canadian embassies.
