KE.ME NEW YORK COLLEGE (NYC) offers high-quality multicultural education through academic collaboration with well-known US and European universities.

The NYC Educational Group was established in 1989 in Athens, offering exclusively in Greece the undergraduate degrees of the Empire State College of the State University of New York, one of the largest public universities in the United States with 64 campuses across the state of New York. Since then, NYC has built on the vision of providing international university education of high credibility and cutting-edge knowledge which meets the needs and demands of the local and global markets and society. Based on this vision, the Group has expanded as no other in academic collaborations as well as the establishment of institutions in Europe.

Today, the NYC Educational Group, New York College in Athens and Thessaloniki, Greece, has assisted in the development of the private, recognized University of New York in Prague (1998) and the University of New York in Tirana (2002).

NYC offers PhDs, Masters and Bachelors degrees in business, informatics, engineering, communication, international relations, psychology, nutrition, biomedical sciences, tourism, shipping, film studies, and education, in collaboration with distinguished universities in the United States and Europe, which guarantee students the authentic degree of the partner university. New York College in Athens and Thessaloniki are licensed by the Greek Ministry of Education. New York College Athens and Thessaloniki are also accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC).

Studying Abroad

At New York College students have the unique chance to participate in exchange student programs with NYC’s affiliated institutions. Students may attend a semester or a year in a variety of different places, from Athens and Thessaloniki, to Prague, Paris or London, depending on the program they attend.

Support for International Students

NYC International Office welcomes, counsels and supports international students. New York College is dedicated to helping students from more than 65 countries to achieve academic excellence and personal growth, as well as offering support programs and services to students from ethnically diverse backgrounds. In addition, New York College welcomes students from all over the world through “student exchange” programs. New international students are offered a special orientation event held at the beginning of each term. This orientation is an opportunity for students to settle in prior to the start of studies. In addition to receiving general advice about living and studying in Greece, students have the chance to meet faculty and staff, other international students, and be acquainted with the various clubs and societies at New York College.

Candidate students are invited to attend one of our friendly and informative Open Days scheduled throughout the year and announced on our website. Alternatively, you may visit us at any time and have the opportunity to speak to academic staff, students, or even attend one of our classes so that you get a real feeling of what it is to study at New York College.
