City of Athens to raise awareness on food waste
The City of Athens is hosting a Sunday lunch for 5,000 people on Sunday in an effort to raise awareness on the issue of food waste.
The event, which takes place on Kotzia Square from noon to 5 p.m., is part of the international initiative “Feeding the 5,000” and is organized by charity organization Feedback.
Based on fruit and vegetables, the meal will be prepared by Thessaloniki’s Chefsclub. Admission is free.
