Panathinaikos forward Antonis Fotsis led a balanced offense in Saturday’s 106-78 win over Panionios in the ninth round of the basketball league’s top division. Panathinaikos’s players overwhelmed Panionios and put on a spectacular show which cost them several certain baskets in the second half. Fotsis scored 16 points, with Rodney Buford, his teammate last year at the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies, adding 15 points. Four other players also reached double figures. Panathinaikos remained undefeated in first place, while Panionios ties last with three other teams; its coach, Costas Missas, resigned yesterday.
