Discovered to have smoked marijuana…
Rodney Buford (l) of Panathinaikos and Willie Solomon (r) of Aris were discovered at a doping control to have smoked marijuana. If this is confirmed by their second sample, they risk a three-month suspension. The loss will be great for both teams but especially for Aris, for which Solomon has been the leading scorer this season. Both, along with Panathinaikos’s Antonis Fotsis, were teammates on the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies last season.
