Reds check out transfer targets for next season

Super League leader Olympiakos is already making plans for next year, eyeing two Asteras Tripolis soccer players, Costas Fortounis and Matias Degra.

Olympiakos president Vangelis Marinakis suggested on January 24 that ?Fortounis will soon be with us,? referring to the Asteras prodigy who started his career at the Olympiakos academies.

The following day Asteras goalkeeper Degra admitted that Olympiakos had held preliminary talks with him regarding a transfer this coming summer.

On Monday reports had suggested that Olympiakos has also knocked on the door of Samaras, striker for Celtic and Greece, for next season.

Olympiakos also holds the rights to striker Costas Mitroglou, who scored Panionios?s goal against Panathinaikos on Sunday in the 1-1 draw at Nea Smyrni. A sports judge has summoned Mitroglou for his extreme celebration after his goal, during which he took off his shirt, threw it into the stands and let his shorts slide down to reveal his underwear. His behavior earned him a yellow card.
