Panathinaikos thrash hapless Malaga

Panathinaikos dismissed visiting Unicaja Malaga on January 27 to secure the top position in its pool for the top 16 of the Euroleague, basketball?s top continental competition.

The Greens triumphed 82-56 over a depleted Spanish side at the Olympic Sports Hall in Athens and have two wins out of two games.

In the Eurocup on the same evening, Panellinios lost 68-65 at Alba Berlin for its second loss in as many games.

The Greek league resumes on January 29 with four games: Panathinaikos vs Ilisiakos, Kavala vs Peristeri, Kolossos vs Maroussi and AEK vs Olympiakos.

The following day Aris meets Panellinios, Iraklis greets PAOK and Panionios clashes with Ikaros Kallitheas.
