Gymnast Dimosthenis Tambakos during his performance on the rings which earned him a first place in the World Gymnastics Cup Grand Prix event in Thessaloniki on Sunday. In the same meeting, Ioannis Melissanidis, gold medalist in the 1996 Olympics, made a comeback to place third in the vault. Vlassis Maras was third on the high bar.
