Olympiakos Volou into Europa League?s next round

Olympiakos Volou drew 1-1 with Rad Belgrade at home on July 21 to advance to the third qualifying round of the Europa League with a 2-1 aggregate score.

The Greek debutant in Europe suffered a shock when Nemanja Kojic gave the Serbs a 1-0 lead on the night to level the score on aggregate in the 47th minute at the Panthessaliko Stadium in Volos.

It took the Greek team half an hour to equalize, as Juan Martin scored from the penalty spot in the 77th minute to make it 1-1 and give Olympiakos Volou the ticket to the next round.

Olympiakos Volou finished the game with 10 men as Khalifa Sankare was red-carded five minutes from time.

The next challenge for coach Javi Gracia?s players is Differdange of Luxembourg, with the first match away on July 28.
