AEK prevails over Osijek

AEK Athens striker Demis Nikolaidis heads the ball during yesterday’s 3-2 victory over Croatia’s Osijek in the second round, second-leg match for the European UEFA Cup in Athens. AEK won the first-leg game in Croatia 2-1 and will play in the third round. He was suspended from public office when arrested two years ago.
