All set for A1 league semifinals

Olympiakos will face Panionios and Panathinaikos will meet Kolossos Rhodes in the semifinals of the Greek league as all four semifinalists swept their opponents with a 2-0 score in the quarterfinals last week.

In the best-of-three series involving the top eight teams of the regular season, Olympiakos beat PAOK 81-53 at home and 68-61 away, and will have home advantage over Panionios.

The Nea Smyrni club managed to defeat AGO Rethymnou, both away (83-71) and at home (74-67), to become the only team outside the top four of the regular season to make the semis.

Panathinaikos got the better of Aris with an 83-68 win at home and an 88-65 triumph at Thessaloniki.

The Greens will have home advantage in the best-of-five semis with Kolossos, who beat Kavala 82-61 on Rhodes and 73-67 away.

The semifinals start on Tuesday and will be played every other day.
