Athens Olympics chief organizer Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki (l) yesterday visited the organizing committee’s call center where the public can order tickets, ask questions or volunteer to help during the Games. A total of 180 operators work at the center. Angelopoulos-Daskalaki said interested Greeks should not wait until the last minute but ‘hurry up and buy.’ Applications for tickets can be made to the center, online or through Alpha Bank branches before June 12. European Union residents can buy tickets online or through the call center. Spectators from the rest of the world can buy only through national Olympic committees.
