Kalin Kreanga won a bronze medal at the World Table Tennis Championships
Kalin Kreanga, a Romanian-born, naturalized Greek who has dominated Greek table tennis for over a decade, won a bronze medal at the World Table Tennis Championships in Paris over the weekend. Kreanga lost to South Korea’s Joo Se Hyuk in the semifinal and, since there was no match for third place, shared bronze with the other losing semifinalist, China’s Kong Linghui. ‘Now I want a distinction at the Olympics,’ Kreanga said upon his arrival in Athens yesterday.
