PAOK faces Maccabi in Europa League playoffs
PAOK will play Maccabi Tel Aviv and Atromitos will face AZ Alkmaar in the playoff stages of the Europa League.
PAOK, dumped out of the Champions League this week by Metalist Kharkiv, will play the first match against its Israeli opponent in Tel Aviv.
Maccabi has a good record against Greek teams as it has knocked Panathinaikos and Olympiakos out of European competitions.
Atromitos will play its first game in Athens before traveling to the Netherlands for the return.
First-leg matches are to be played on August 22 and return matches on August 29.
The winners advance to the group stage which will be drawn in Monaco on August 30.
