Aris sacks coach Milinkovic, brings back Papadopoulos
Super League club Aris formally announced on Friday that it has sacked Serbian coach Zoran Milinkovic.
He has been replaced by Soulis Papadopoulos, who at the latter part of last season steered the Thessaloniki club to safety. He was already on the team’s bench on Monday at the 2-1 loss at PAS Giannina.
Aris, lying at the foot of the 18-team league, was changing manager for the third time this season.
With half of the season completed, 10 teams have hired or fired 28 coaches, with Veria making a total of five changes so far.
