Panelefsiniakos is relegated from the Basket League

Panelefsiniakos has become the other team to go down from the Basket League, after Panionios, as in the battle for survival against Korivos Amaliadas it hosted on Saturday it lost to its visitor and has bid farewell to the top flight after three seasons.

Korivos came from behind to win 72-70 in an ever-so-tight match at Elefsina that was decided right at the end and allowed Korivos to preserve its status as a Basket League club for another season.

PAOK also won a tight game away from home, beating Nea Kifissia 62-60 to get even closer to a third-spot finish in the regular season. Rival AEK had no problems at home against Trikala, winning 96-73.

In other Saturday encounters, Kolossos continued its strong showings with a 77-63 defeat of AGO Rethymnou on Rhodes, and KAO Dramas confirmed its survival in the A1 with a 67-63 triumph at Apollon Patras.

The games of Aris vs Panathinaikos and Olympiakos vs Panionios have been postponed as Panathinaikos and Olympiakos are involved in the Euroleague play-offs.
