Giovani scored in the 3rd and 20th minutes for Olympiakos. Gabriel Letieri made it 2-1 in the 42nd and Nikos Froussos equalized in the 87th. Olympiakos failed to bolster its two-point lead in the league following second-placed Panathinaikos’s surprise 0-0 draw against first division debutante Halkidona on Saturday. Also on Saturday, AEK moved up to 5th place with a 3-1 win over PAOK.
