PAO to face Bruges in soccer’s Champions League

Panathinaikos has been drawn against Belgian club Bruges in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

The first match between the two teams will take place on July 28 or 29 in Athens and the return leg is scheduled for a week later in Belgium.

In the Europa League PAOK will play the winner of the tie involving Spartak Trnava of Slovakia and Linfield of Northern Ireland if it gets past Lokomotiva Zagreb after losing the first leg on Thursday 2-1.

Atromitos will meet either AIK Stockholm or Shirak of Armenia in the same competition.
