Second silver medal for Vazaios in Copenhagen
Andreas Vazaios added a second silver medal to his tally at the European Short Course Championship in Copenhagen on Sunday, finishing second at the 200-meter butterfly final.
Two days after earning silver at the 200-m. medley final, the Greek champion won his career’s third medal in the Short Course Europeans with a national record.
Vazaios clocked one minute and 51.23 seconds to end up second only to Russian Aleksandr Kharlanov. Vazaios improved his own national record registered in the morning’s semifinal.
