Euroleague’s Top 16 draw maps the way

Greece’s three Euroleague representatives – Panathinaikos, Olympiakos, and Aris – all through to the basketball competition’s second stage, found out yesterday who they will face in the Top 16 action ahead of the quarterfinals. Drawn in Group F, Panathinaikos faces Barcelona, Efes Pilsen, and Prokom Trefl. Olympiakos, in Group E, meets defending champion CSKA Moscow, DKV Joventut and Partizan. Aris, playing in Group G, will confront Dynamo Moscow, Benetton Treviso and Unicaja. The top two teams from four groups advance to the quarterfinals. The opening round of second-stage play is scheduled for February 14 and 15.
