Xanthi coach goes before beginning

Xanthi soccer club, which narrowly avoided relegation last season, has parted ways with its new coach Jorn Andersen, just weeks after the Norwegian signed a deal with the team. Some reports attributed the move to conflicting opinions on how the club’s roster should be improved. Others said the administration was offended by a luxury holiday taken by the Norwegian at a time when the club is looking at ways of recovery. Reports named Cyprus coach Angelos Anastassiadis as a possible replacement.
