Injured Antonis Fotsis to miss Eurobasket after doctors at Dynamo Moscow rule him out
Greece forward Antonis Fotsis will miss the upcoming Eurobasket tournament in Spain after club doctors at Dynamo Moscow ruled that he needs at least four weeks to recover from a hand injury. Earlier this week, the Greek Basketball Federation said that the Russian club had given its consent for Fotsis to join the Greek squad. The federation had estimated that Fotsis would have recovered not long after the tournament’s start, on September 3. Greece, the European champion, plays its final warm-up match today against Italy in Rome.
