Mantzios goes on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt
Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt have signed 24-year-old Greek striker Vangelis Mantzios from Panathinaikos in a loan deal to run until the end of the season. The German club said it had paid 300,000 euros for the short-term deal. The 1.91-meter striker will join fellow Greece internationals Yiannis Amanatidis, the German team’s captain, and Sotiris Kyrgiakos. Mantzios scored nine goals in 27 games with Panathinaikos last season but has seen less action this season. He has represented Greece on six occasions.
