Efes Pilsen set to host Panathinaikos tonight
European basketball champ Panathinaikos greets Tur-key’s Efes Pilsen tonight in the Euroleague’s opening round of Top 16 play. Panathinaikos and Efes Pilsen, which go into the Group D game with 12-2 and 8-6 records respectively, meet in the Top 16 for the third consecutive season. Panathinaikos has won their last three games. Tomorrow, Olympiakos hosts Maccabi in Group F and Aris greets Fenerbahce in Group E.
