Crucial Euroleague games for local clubs

Playing away tonight against Italian club Siena, European basketball champion Panathinaikos will need to push for victory to boost its hopes of a quarterfinal place. Panathinaikos lies third with a 1-1 record in Group D, with four games remaining. The top two teams advance. For Olympiakos, also playing tonight, at home against Zalgiris in Group F, the situation could well be do-or-die, following two losses. Also without a win after two games, Aris will need to beat Tau Ceramica in a Group E game in Thessaloniki tomorrow to keep its quarterfinal hopes alive.
