Olympiakos basketball coach Panayiotis Yiannakis said yesterday his team could win against CSKA, a favorite for this season’s Euroleague title, in tonight’s opening game of their best-of-three quarterfinal series. «We respect CSKA but are not afraid of them,» said Yiannakis, whose team faces CSKA at home, where the Russians are undefeated this season. «We’re focused on the first game and nothing beyond that. If we remain focused from the first to the last minute, we will be able to push for the best possible outcome, victory.» The pair meets again for Game 2 on Thursday at Olympiakos’s Peace and Friendship Stadium. If needed, a third game has been scheduled for Thursday week. CSKA is striving for a sixth successive Final Four appearance.
