Olympiakos now finds itself just one win away from basketball’s national league title after defeating AEK 75-70 in the second game of their best-of-five series on Sunday night. Olympiakos, which also won the opening game and now leads the series 2-0, played Sunday’s match at home before empty stands as a result of penalties imposed on the club following a trouble-marred semifinal encounter against Panathinaikos. Stone-throwing hooligans had ambushed the Panathinaikos team’s bus causing slight injuries to several players.
