All-Greek clash set in water polo
The quarterfinals of the women’s water polo Champions Cup will see a rare all-Greek clash, after the outcome of yesterday’s draw in Rome. Vouliagmeni will play Glyfada for a spot in the final four of the competition on January 31 or February 1 at Vouliagmeni and then on March 7 or 8 at Glyfada. Two more Greek teams are in the LEN Trophy quarterfinals, but have been kept apart. Ethnikos will face Shturm Chehov of Russia and Olympiakos will play Mediterrani Barcelona. Games are scheduled for January 31 or February 1 and February 14 or 15. Ethnikos will play first in Russia while Olympiakos will host its Spanish opponents in Piraeus for the first leg.
