The national junior water polo team arrived in Greece with the silver medal from the World Championship and promptly dedicated it to one of its youngest fans at Athens airport. Greece lost at Sibenik, Croatia, to the hosts in the final 9-8, only going down in overtime after regular time ended with the score at 7-7.
