Philopappou Hill…
Philopappou Hill, opposite the Acropolis, is a lovely place for visitors to take a walk on Clean Monday, March 10. Weather permitting, and if the wind blows, multicolored kites flying in the Attic sky will make a fine sight. Athenian custom calls for families to eat tasty mezedes or tidbits outdoors, and share them with passers-by. There will also be free retsina.
